Your role:

The successful candidate will have a consultative approach to Sales, have a successful track record of selling to senior management customers and be credible operating at this level. You will be a self-starter, self-motivated and have a passion for both the customer and winning business.

Ideally you will have a background in selling insight technology solutions & services and demonstrable success of winning new business. Knowledge and contacts within the FMCG industry would be preferable.

You will sweat the details and the nuances and know that an obsession with tone, type and targeting delivers results time after time. You know that securing a relationship is more than just the pitch deck and a broad smile – we will arm you with case studies & testimonials and full marketing and customer success support.

If you are Intelligent, quick-witted and persistent & understand how to evangelize a product while broadening a customer’s perception of its value then you will fit right in.

Key responsibilities:

As Account Executive, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Develops new business opportunities and sales pipeline with new clients as agreed with the Leadership team.
  • Manage your own new business sales process through prospecting, qualification, client needs analysis, stakeholder mapping, product demonstration and negotiation.
  • Once contracts are won, collaborates closely with the Customer Success team, to get the client engagement up and running, ensuring plans are well executed and deployed consistently.
  • Ensures that there is internal alignment in terms of resource and capability to meet expansion needs.
  • Keeps up to date with industry trends and key prospects and focus on networking opportunities to help win new business.
  • Ensures accurate and complete information is captured in customer relationship management (CRM) system. Provides data quality checks weekly.

What we are looking for:

  • Self-starter, with a hunter mentality selling new business
  • Experience selling in a B2B SaaS / Software / technology or Research environment in the UK / Europe
  • Strong track record of achievement against targets
  • Exceptional organisation, presentation and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A track record of achievement against team & personal revenue and performance targets
  • A hunter sales ethic with experience in the challenger sale or provocative selling methodology is idea

Salary range:

£50 – £90k OTE (based on experience)
